Chuck Hill | Owner/Business Operations

Chuck and Jenny Hill are the sole proprietors of Interior Yardage. Jenny started the business by attending flea markets and ended up with customers shopping in her basement. This lead to a permanent storefront and Interior Yardage was born. The first storefront was opened in the 400 block of Southland Drive and, in 2001, after several years of steady growth, they relocated to its current location at 303 Southland Drive. After 21 years of growing their customer base, they continue to enjoy the excitement of new clientele and the privilege of working with customers who are now considered friends and IY family.

Chuck left medical sales in 2002 to take on shipping, receiving, reupholstery, maintenance, payroll, and the business end of Interior Yardage. Yes, he wears lots of hats. Jenny has developed a workroom with impeccable quality standards. She does 95% of the buying, has more than 20 years of drapery design experience, and has branched out into refurnishing houseboat interiors with Fran Kenison from Somerset, KY. In their down time, Chuck and Jenny enjoy time with family, entertaining, golf, and boating.

Interior Yardage is the classic mom-and-pop retail and fabricating business which will not be limited by a job description. It has been and continues to be a very interesting and growing business–Chuck and Jenny enjoy the change of design and the challenge of the marketplace. They strive to keep up-to-date on current trends but believe in staying close to a timeless traditional/transitional decor as well.
